What Is Gate Automation?
Gate automation is the motorized opener system - for sliding or swing gates - that opens and closes your gate at the push of a button. Operators are paired with keypad, remote, or smartphone access, and can be added to a brand-new gate or retrofitted onto an existing one. The result is reliable, daily-use convenience without leaving your vehicle or your house.
When Is Gate Automation Necessary?
Automation is the right call when you're replacing a manual gate with an automated one, upgrading a failing or outdated opener, or adding smart-access features to an existing gate you already love. It's also worth adding any time you want the security and convenience of controlled entry - remotes, keypads, intercoms, or smartphone control - rather than getting out to open the gate by hand.
What Is Required for Gate Automation?
A gate automation install needs a motor sized correctly to the gate's weight and local wind load, safety sensors and photo-eyes to prevent the gate from closing on a person or vehicle, battery backup for entry through power outages, and weatherproof electrical work at the opening. For retrofits, we assess the existing gate's structure and balance first - a flimsy or poorly hung gate needs to be repaired or rebuilt before an operator can be added.

Do you fabricate gates in-house or buy pre-made gates?
Every gate we install is fabricated in-house. We weld, finish, and powder-coat each gate to your property's exact specifications - we don't sell off-the-shelf gates.
Can you automate an existing gate?
In most cases, yes. We can retrofit automation onto an existing swing or sliding gate, provided the gate is structurally sound. We'll assess your gate on site and recommend the best operator.
What access control options do you offer?
